10 Things to do while waiting on your Drone to arrive

DJI, the world leader in unmanned aerial technology revolutionized personal flight by introducing Mavic Pro – a portable, powerful and easy-to-use drone featuring DJI’s most innovative flight technology in a sleek, foldable package that enables creative fun wherever you go. You can read about it in this article. And I can finally say, I ordered my own DJI Mavic Pro about two weeks ago. Sadly enough, it wont arrive before the end of January. But I cant wait to testdrive (testfly?) it. I’ve got so many locations in mind where I’m sure I’ll be able to capture some great footage!

So what do you do while you’re waiting for your drone?

07. Clear some disk space

06. Become an Affiliate Marketeer for DJI

05. Scout some locations

04. Get the App

03. Pretend that you have a drone

02. Watch some unboxing videos

01. Learn the Rules

Who doesn’t want to fly like an eagle? I think Seal hit the nail on the head when he sang that song. Whenever I see drone shots something happens. I truly think it’s magical to see the world from a birds eye perspective. Whenever I’m in a plane I can’t stop staring out the window. Seeing the world shrink below you, puts everything in perspective.

For the last 3 months I’ve been saving and cutting all expenses. I put aside all the money I had left at the end of each months and within these months, I was able to preorder my DJI Mavic Pro.
I fell in love with this drone after a review of Casey Neistat. Having such incredible technology being able to fit in your backpack is awesome. I would gladly cut back a little on quality for comfort. By this I mean Mavic’s brother. The DJI Phanton. The camera is able to catch a bit more details but it’s such an incredible sluggish device. The controle is like walking around with an ipad and a keyboard attached to it. While the controller of the DJI is more like a console controlle with your mobile phone attached to it.

So those are just a few of my reasons but I’ll have more to tell you in a dedicated video. I expect the drone to be shipped somewhere at the end of January. And I HOPE to receive it at the start of February. I’ll let you know!
